What Has VASI Done For You Lately?

VASI has a great program in store this fall, kicking off with a membership drive in August. Membership is the foundation of VASI and reaching out to new members as well as encouraging renewal is a top priority for the upcoming season. Individual and corporate memberships are essential to the VASI mission. Individual memberships are $25, Corporate membership is just $50 and a Signature Corporate membership is $100. Fall Schedule

Kickoff – Wednesday, September 19: Airport Status, briefing and Q&A with Chris Rozansky, Airport Administrator.

Meet the Candidates – Wednesday, October 10: City Council Candidates discuss the issues; moderated by Bob Vedder. Note the non-standard meeting date.

Fly The Bahamas – Wednesday, November 21: Leonard Stuart, Bahamian Ministry of Tourism presents fly-in opportunities throughout the Bahamas.

December: No meeting.

Aviation Law perspectives – January 16:  Michael J. Schofield, Attorney and Certified Mediator, Clark Partington Hart Larry Bond & Stackhouse.

Sun ‘N Fun – February 20: ‘Lites’ Leenhout, President of Sun ‘N Fun. Accomplished Naval Aviator speaks on this premier General Aviation event. Not to be missed. Bring friends and family.

The Mayor Speaks – March 20: Mayor John Holic comments on Venice affairs, Venice Municipal Airport and a brief Q&A session.

Safety, Safety, Safety – April 17: A panel of guest speakers will address safety issues specific to VNC in this interactive workshop format. Bring your questions, concerns, comments and aviation visitors to this informative briefing.
