22 Oct Construction in Progress at VNC
If you have been to the Airport in the past few days, you’ve probably noticed that there is a great deal of construction in progress. A new t-hangar is being constructed in the field to the west of the existing hangar area and the public parking aprons are being demolished and reconstructed to current standards.
Please remember that for everyone’s safety, only the contractors and authorized members of the project teams are permitted to be in the areas under construction, so please respect the barricades and signage that are in place and which will be shifted to new locations as the projects progress.
In addition, please be aware that the portion of Taxiway B that is west of Taxiway C will close on Monday, October 23 at 7:00 AM and will remain closed for approximately 30 days while that area is (mostly) reconfigured into a taxilane and aircraft parking apron. A NOTAM has been issued and closure markers will be in place.
A phasing plan for the apron rehabilitation project is currently being revised to minimize impacts to airport tenants and will be distributed as soon as it is available. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact our office if you have any questions.
Thank you,
