Jim came to Venice after a long career at an Ohio School District and leaving behind friends and family to come to a new place was not without trepidation.  “Everyone knew us back home.  From people at the grocery store all the way to the parents and students” said Jim.  “Venice gave us a fresh start and in five short years here we have been embraced by the Venice and Airport community”

Venice airport is owned and operated by the City of Venice with a positive regional economic impact in excess of $43 million annually.  As an integral component of Venice business community, management and maintenance of its physical infrastructure is paramount to keeping KVNC a vibrant destination in South Florida.

“VASI Board appreciates the most recent investments made by the City and the support that we get from City Goverment and the community at large”, said David Wimberly.  “As the voice of Venice General Aviation we encourage and appreciate it when our friends and neighbors recognize the fine job being done here at the Airport by staff”

VASI is the voice of Venice General Aviation. VASI is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting both general aviation and community interests in our airport. From Angel Flights, to Agape Flights, Flight Training, Business and Leisure Travel, the VASI goal is to promote safe, sustainable General Aviation at the Venice Airport
