18 Jun CBP Changes Overflight Policy
In an e-mail blast to aviation users, CBP writes,
Good morning,
Yesterday we announced changes to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Southern Border Overflight Exemption process. These changes won’t affect all private aircraft flyers, but for those that utilize a Southern Border Overflight Exemption, the changes represent a tremendous reduction in paperwork and an expanded range of operation. These changes were brought about through a partnership with industry.
Attached is a summary of the changes we’ve implemented. Thank you for your continued support and compliance.
