VASI Mourns The Losses

In addition to the tragic events unfolding in Boston, the Venice Aviation Society regrets the loss of some distinguished VASI members in recent weeks.

William “Bill” Furfari passed April 14th after a prolonged illness. A veteran and a father, Bill was a founding member of VASI and a regular around the airport.

David Alt, a veteran and familiar face in Golden Beach, passed earlier in April. He was 80.

Terrence “Terry” Simmons, a WWII veteran and VASI member, recently passed.

Bless these men and their families. Our sincerest condolences from the VASI Board.
